Some more information on the first Surrey Poetry Festival. The festival’s talking place at The Angel Posting House and Livery, once a favourite stop for overnight stays to one Jane Austen, a Lord Byron and someone called Dickens. There’s a crypt with a little wine bar for later (or earlier), and also a secret underground escape tunnel that leads up to Guildford castle in case all that innovative poetry gets too much for anyone.
